Feel so pity for Palestine. Neither in war nor in peace, Palestine is in status quo. Armed fightings have long gone, while peace agreement has not yet come. And surely, Israel enjoys the most advantageous. No longer military or political sanctions to Israel. They can move freely tightening their grip.

Even more, they spread new Jews settlement above Palestine land. The most current Jews settlement above Palestinian land is in East Jerusalem. In the settlement called Maale David are being built 14 houses and spotted rightly in the middle of Arab settlement, Ras al-Amud.

Previously, near this area, Israel has built settlement inhabited by 1,000 Jews. On last November, Israeli government also held a tender to build more than 800 houses in Har Homa and Pisgat Zeev, two areas with Hebrew names although they stood in Palestinian land in East Jerusalem.

Maale David settlement is certainly not going to be the last because Israel will continuously build other settlements in Palestinian land they have occupied. Up to now, Israel has built more than 100 settlements in West Bank and East Jerusalem since the annexation on 1967. Currently more than 500 Jews live in these settlements.

Israeli regime knew for sure about international reaction against their illegal settlement – according to international laws – expansion. They, as always, could condemn and only condemn, not more than that. Because, once United States of America uses its veto then any decision related to the Jewish state, no single resolution can pass. The veto is a command.

And, any country dared to violate the command will be sanctioned by USA then UN. With such ‘protection guarantee’ it is no surprise if then Israeli leaders seemed to ignore all international agreements. Especially, if only in form of condemnation and condemnation.

The most prominent example was when Palestine accepted as UNESCO member last November. As the response to UNESCO decision, Israel quickly built new settlement in Har Homa and Pisgat Zeev in East Jerusalem.

Not only settlement, Israel nuclear reactor has never been questioned. Whereas, as stated by Arab League public relations, Wael Assad, Israeli military nuclear activities have created serious concerns in Middle East. Since 1958, when Israeli regime started to build Dimona plutonium reactor and uranium processing facilities, they have silently produced dozens of nuclear warheads.

Zionist regime has now recorded as the sole nuclear weapon proprietor in Middle East. But, once again, when it comes to Israel, the world and especially the West seemed to omit. In fact, Israeli’s nuclear programs have been proven highly harmful. Quoting Israeli’s daily, Yediot Aharonot, number of cancer patients as the result of Israeli’s nuclear reactor radiation and atomic waste, especially Dimona reactor in Negev Desert, raised 40 percent to prior.

This nuclear reactor leakage, according to some sources, could reach Jordan, Syria, Egypt and even Libya. But different case happened when it comes to Iran.

They acted as if the world are facing massive danger, especially Middle East, if Iran posseses nuclear. But, when it is Israel’s, they called it for state defence. Now, they pushed Iran to make an agreement in Istanbul. What is surprising, a number of Arab countries seemed to just nod to every West’s actions, whether they are related to Israel or Iran.

Not only to Iran, some of Arab leaders, through Arab League and UN, also tried to overthrow Syria’s President Bashar al-Assad. The reason was, Assad, ‘hard to submit’ alias always against to ‘major policy stream’ Arab leaders who “must be” parallel to West decisions and policies.

This doesn’t mean I’m a pro-Assad. All dictatorships must be opposed, including Assad’s regime. What I want to underline here is that this current circumstances – where all world leaders are busy to punish Assad and Iran nuclear – what Israeli regime wants.

They will walk freely expanding Jews settlement on Palestinian land without UN resolution against it nor any sanction whatsoever from world society. If this matter keeps continuing, one day Palestine would only be a name, without home land.
