REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, MATARAM - A man who worked for a government institution named Syarifudin was reported missing in Kuta Beach, Central Lombok at 01.00 pm local time. The spokesman from Mataram Search and Rescue, Putu Cakranegara confirmed the accident and team were still searching.
"We get the report that a man wiped in the wave of Kuta Beach and until 10.00 pm the victim has not been found," he said.
The victim was reportedly lost when he went fishing with his two friends. "We have not got the identity of the survivors. One of them is still in the hospital," he said.
The Head of Education, Youth, and Sport Department in Nusa Tenggara Barat, Lalu Syafi'i, obtained the report of the missing person. "The victim was fishing. Until now Syarifudin is still missing," he said.
