GMJ heads to Lebanon

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, ISTANBUL – The land caravan team of Global March to Jerusalem (GMJ) headed to Lebanon, departed from Istanbul to Konya, then to Mersin Port on Monday morning, with the mileage in 643 kilometers and estimated time in 18 hours. From Mersin, GMJ will cross Mediterranean Sea by ship to Beirut that will take eight hours.

The Head of Turkish Mazlum Der Association, Yuneyt Saryashar, invited all Muslim elements to unite in fighting arrogance and violence of Israeli Zionist who tried to tear down Masjid al-Aqsa due to their belief on Haikal Sulaiman. “Jerusalem is for all religions,” Saryashar said, reported by Nashih Nasrullah from Republika.

A delegation member from Asia, Feroze Mithiborwala, said the team would keep approaching Palestine border. According to the obtained information, he said, Israel had warned the neighbors not to facilitate GMJ.

Israeli threats seem does not affect the GMJ’s movement. “Tell Israel and its Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu that nothing can stop the act,” he said firmly.

Millions GMJ activists from five continents will gather in Alenbe Valley on March 30, which marks Palestinian Land Day. In the border of Jordan and Palestine, they will protest against Israel’s Zionism which sits on Palestine. 

The members of GMJ attended Palestine March held in Hasan Dogan Sport Hall located in Bahceli Evler, Istanbul, to inflame anti-Zionist spirit and support Palestinian struggle.

The Head of GMJ-Indonesian land caravan, Muhammad Ma’ruf, said one mission of GMJ was to break the Israel’s Zionism myths, namely belief that Zionists as the only world leader, Palestine as Zionists’ promising land, their right to settle in Palestine, and their right to conduct of preemptive attect.
