REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - After three days spending nights in hospital and undergoing removal surgery, Indonesian First Lady Ani Yudhoyono was allowed to leave the hospital on Sunday afternoon.

"Alhamdulillah, finally I discharged from the hospital," she said.

She was thankful for the doctors carrying out the operation. "And for all relatives and Indonesian people who have prayed for my health," she said.

"Once again, thank you for the friends who have been waiting for days. Thank you. Hope I will never go back here (the hospital)," she added.

After leaving Gatot Subroto Army Hospital, Ani Yudhoyono does not need to undergo any medical check up, but she has to take several medications routinely.

She left the hospital at 11.30 accompanied by his sons, Ibas, Agus, and daughter in law, Aliya. She took a chance to approach the journalists before getting in her car. She looked healthy in blazer and black trousers.

The Head of Presidential Doctor Team, Dr Aris Wibudi, had said before that the first lady has recovered so that she could leave the hospital. Her good condition makes her possible to accompany the President's activity.
