REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA – Forget the old school and boring headscarf! Now, headscarf comes in the attractive designs, kinds, and colors. Take a look at Tanah Abang Market, Jakarta. You will be amazed with various kinds of headscarf. The most happening headscarf is pashmina style.

This is the headscarf that most women wanted today. The designs also vary from colors and fabrics. “On a day, I can sell more than 20 pashminas,” Dwi, one of the headscarf sellers, said.

Pashmina is a rectangle headscarf like a scarf. Women can wear it in many different ways. You can wrap it around your head or style it like Arabian women. The price is very competitive. It depends on the design, type, and fabric. “It ranges from 40,000 IDR to 55,000 IDR,” Dwi said.

Okay, pashmina not your taste? Pick tie dye and glittered headscarf!  “It is the most demanded,” Nana, another seller, said. Tie dye is a special process of coloring. The methods are binding the fabric with strings and dye it. Soft color tie dye fits every model of clothes. The glittered pashmina is perfectly worn for the party.

The price is also affordable. “You can buy the tie dye about 45.000 IDR, while the glittered one is 50.000 to 55.000 IDR,” Nana said. No more boring headscarf then!
