REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, KUPANG -- The Indonesian province of East Nusa Tenggara has 112 marine tourism locations scattered across almost all districts and cities in the province, according to local tourism office spokesman Wely Rohimone.
"Of all the marine tourism locations, the most popular ones are the snorkeling and diving sites in the districts of Alor and Rote Ndao, which continue to attract foreign tourists who love to dive and explore the underwater world there," Rohimone affirmed here on Thursday.
He noted that the marine tourism potential in the province is promising for diving, surfing, snorkeling, fishing, and other marine-related activities.
According to Rohimone, the districts of Alor, Sikka, Manggarai, West Manggarai, and Ngada offer ideal sites for diving and snorkeling activities in East Nusa Tenggara.
Therefore, Rohimone stated that the local government is currently optimizing all marine tourism locations in the island province.
