REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, MAGELANG -- An Egyptian man, identified as Abdelaziz Mohamed Abdel Fattah Abdel Maksum Saleh (55), was found dead on Friday in the dorm of Pabelan Islamic Boarding School in Magelang, Central Java. He was a teacher from Egypt.

Magelang police spokesman Adjunct Commissioner Supriyanto remarked here on Saturday that Abdelaziz arrived in Indonesia on April 1,2017 to teach at Pabelan Islamic Boarding School in Magelang. He was assigned by Al Azhar University in Egypt as a foreign teacher in Indonesia for one year, but his teaching assignment was extended until March 31, 2019.

Abdelaziz has apparently died three days earlier before his body was found at 6.30 pm West Indonesian Standard Time on Friday. Based on the results of the examination, police did not find any signs of violence against the victim.

For further investigation, the body of the victim was taken to Dr.Sardjito Hospital in Yogyakarta for an autopsy.
