REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) will summons House of Representative's speaker Setya Novanto (Setnov) as suspect in e-ID card procurement graft case, on Wednesday (November 15).

A written notice was sent to Setnov who is also the Golkar party chairman last week.

"We will summons SN (Setya Novanto) in his capacity as suspect," spokesperson of KPK, Febri Diansyah, said on Monday (November 13).

Febri asked Setnov to comply with KPK's summons. He expected Setnov will give a good example as the Honorable member of the House.

Moreover, Setnov has failed to meet previous three summonses to testify as witness in e-ID card graft case for the defendant Anang Sugiana Sudiharjo as president director of PT Quadra Solution.

Febri said, KPK have not prepare steps to anticipate Setnov refusal to meet the summons.

Meanwhile, in a letter to KPK, Setnov explained his absence in the Monday's (November 13) hearing. He said, he used immunity rights as House's member.

On the day of the hearing, Setnov said he was on tour in his electoral district, East Nusa Tenggara.

Setnov was named as suspect for the second time on November 10.
