REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA – Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) investigated Miryam S. Haryani in a corruption case of e-ID project. She was alleged to give false testimony.

"She was investigated as a suspect who gives fake information in the trial of Irman and Sugiharto in Jakarta Corruption Court,” said the Spokesperson of KPK Febri Diansyah in Jakarta on Wednesday (June 21).

KPK would also investigate a member of Commission II of the House of Representatives from Golkar Party Markus Nari. “She was examined as the suspect who hind the investigation and trial process and give fake information to the trial of e-ID with Irman and Sugiharto as defendant,” said Febri.

KPK is investigating the relationship between Markus and the incident of file revoking by Miryam. Febri said it was important for KPK to know the factors why Miryam revoke the file and change her statements.

“In fact, the information showed many indications of fund flows from a number of parties, including members of DPR on e-ID case,” he said.

KPK named former member of Commission II of the DPR from Hanura Party Fraction Miryam S. Haryani as suspect of fake information on corruption trial of e-ID case involved Irman and Sugiharto as defendant.

Miryam S Haryani was subjected to violate article 22 juncto article 35 of Law No. 31 in 1999 as amendment of Law No. 20 in 2001 on Corruption Combat. KPK also named Markus Nari as the suspect who hind the investigation and trial process and give fake information to the same trial. He was subjected to violation of article 21 of Law No. 31 in 1999 as amendment of Law No. 20 in 2001 on Corruption Combat.
