REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Spokesperson of Jakarta Metro Police Sr Comr Argo Yuwono confirmed Habib Rizieq is now in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. On the other hand, the police has not determined the measures to pick up Habib Rizieq related alleged chat case containing pornographic content involving him and Firza Husein.

"We will see what the investigator will do. We will wait for the investigator," he said at Metro Jaya Police Headquarter on Tuesday (May 16).

Argo said currently Habib Rizieq's status is as a witness reported. The police are still considering a few things about picking up Habib Rizieq. One of the things to be counted on is the law in the two countries and the mechanism of pick-up will be like.

"We will coordinate, through interpol through immigration," he said.

Argo said that the police will hold a case screening when the witness and evidence are complete. Meanwhile, the police were still conducting checks on related parties, especially Firza Husein. The next step according to Argo will wait for the results of the investigator.

Habib Rizieq stumbles on a case of alleged chat with Firza containing pornographic content. In the chat, there are pornographic photos that police confirmed as Firza Husein. 

Firza denied the photo and chat as original. She claimed the photo and short message chats are edited.
