REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - National Narcotic Agency (BNN) has completed the DNA test over Constitutional Court chief justice, Akhil Mochtar.  Based on investigation, Mochtar's DNA is identical to DNA traces that are in white paper used for rolling marijuana. The white paper was found in Mochtar's office.

"DNA in the white paper is identical to Mochtar's DNA," Head of Public Relations of BNN, Sumirat Dwiyanto in a press conference on Wednesday.

Dwiyanto explained BNN not conclude that AM was positive for consuming narcotics. However, Dwiyanto said that there was a possibility if Mochtar ever consumed drugs. Therefore, BNN forms  a special team of doctors to examine it.

Previously, Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) confirmed that Mochtar had been named as suspect due to his alleged involvement in two bribery cases, disputed election in Gunung Mas (Central Kalimantan) and Lebak (Banten). Now, he is charged on money laundering case.
