REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo arrived back in Jakarta on Wednesday evening after spending a few days in Solo, his home town, in Central Java for Eid celebrations.
Jokowi and First Lady Iriana arrived here at 17.45 hours aboard the presidential plane Indonesia -1 from Afi Soemarmo airport in Boyolali, Central Java, Head of press, media and information of the presidential secretariat Bey Machmudin stated in a press release.
Before returning to Jakarta, Jokowi met the people in Solo and distributed Eid food packages to them.
On the third day of his visit to Solo, he toured the city to distribute Eid packages to the people.
While in Solo, Jokowi visited his mother and his relatives to exchange Eid greetings, which is the tradition of the people in the country during Eid.
