Singer Reza Artamevia tests positive for drug use

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- National police spokesman Inspector General Boy Rafli Amar has confirmed Indonesian singer Reza Artamevia tested positive of drug use.

He affirmed the statement after urine test on Reza. "The result of urine test is positive use illicit drugs. However, no evidence," Boy said when contacted in Jakarta, Tuesday (30/8).

At the time of the raid at Golden Tulip Hotel, Mataram, West Nusa Tenggara, police only found evidence that belong to Gatot Brajamusti and his wife Dewi Aminah. Meanwhile on six others, including Reza, police found no evidence. "We only find the evidence belongs to Aa Gatot and his wife," he said.

Head of Public Information Bureau (Karopenmas) of Police Headquarters, Brigadier General Agus Rianto said there were eight people in raid at the Golden Tulip hotel, namely Gatot, Dewi Aminah, Gatot's son initials SP, Reza, YY, RN, DN, and BN.

''Based on investigation six-positive people use amphetamine while the other two negative named SP and BN,'' he said.

Meanwhile, he added, police still investigating other witness in the Mataram police station, so National Police still awaiting the result. When asked whether the six positive drugs be suspects, Agus said so far they are not suspects. The reason is still waiting the result of investigation.

 

As for the eye witnesses were examined as many as 10 people, including the hotel management and also Gatot's friends.
