Interconnected electricity in Sulawesi will be built in 2021

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, MANADO -- PT PLN of North Sulawesi, Central Sulawesi and Gorontalo (Sulutenggo) were targeting interconnected electrical system in Sulawesi to be realized in 2021. It was considered as part of efforts to improve services to local communities.

"We are targeting the interconnected electrical system in Sulawesi in 2021. The current stage is still ongoing," said General Manager of PT PLN of Suluttenggo, Baringin Nababan, in Manado, Tuesday (3/11).

He said PLN's commitment was not only to build electricity in certain areas, but also to connect the entire electrical system on Sulawesi.

"PLN is currently building the transmission to supply power. For smooth operation and success of the development of the transmission tower, we also expect the support of local governments," he explained.

Baringin also hoped, the teamwork would continue to be build, so that the targets could be achieved as planned.

"I accept criticism, feedback, and support from the community and customers, so that PLN of Suluttenggo can be the best in Indonesia," said Baringin.
