Presidential palace admits the typing error of BIN

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Presidential Palace finally admitted to having made a typing error in the invitation to the inauguration of the head of State Intelligence Agency (BIN). In the invitation made by State Secretariat Ministry, it is written 'The inauguration of the National Intelligence Agency.' In fact, BIN is an abbreviation for the State Intelligence Agency.

"The State Secretariat Ministry after realizing the technical writing error on the inauguration invitation of BIN chief and the national military (TNI) commander, has repealed immediately and replaced it with the correct writing," said Deputy of Protocol, Press and Media, President Secretariat, Djarot Sri Sulistyo, through a written release received by ROL, on Wednesday, July 8.

According to him, the palace had to send a new invitation which has corrected the writing to the guests and officials who were invited. For the incident, Djarot apologized to the community and promised it would be more careful.

"The State Secretariat Ministry will make every effort to make improvements and increase the quality of administrative services in the Presidential Institution," said Djarot.

Previously, netizens in social media were busy talking about typing error at the inauguration invitation of BIN chief and TNI commander which made by the State Secretariat Ministry. In the invitation letter stamped with the official stamp, written BIN stands for National Intelligence Agency, not the State Intelligence Agency.

After the typing error invitation was busy discussed by netizens, emerged a new invitation with the writing that has been fixed. In the new invitation written 'Inauguration of State Intelligence Agency Chief’.
