REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- State-owned oil company PT Pertamina has ensured stock of various types of fuel (BBM) during the holiday Eid 2016 available and can meet the needs of societies.
"The stock of fuel in safe position," President Director of PT Pertamina Dwi Soetjipto said in Jakarta, on Wednesday (22/6).
He mentioned, from five days before Eid until fifteen days after Eid, fuel consumption will increase about 15 percent compared of normal day. Dwi said the increase in fuel consumption has been anticipated by preparing fuel stock that can meet the needs until 20 days.
"We will prepare the stock and we hope can meet the needs until 20 days," he explained.
Pertamina also anticipate the problem of transporting the fuel when traffic jam during Eid.
"We have enhanced the operation of the fuel terminal that usually only at noon, but now we also operate at night," he said.
He added, while happen traffic jam on the roads, his company also set up mobile gas station to serve the communities.
