FM celebrates Eid in Hungary

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAJARTA -- Finance Minister Bambang Brojonegoro, who is on a work visit to Hungary, attended the Eid al-Fitr, or Lebaran festivity at the Indonesian Embassy in Budapest on Wednesday.

When contacted by Antara here on Thursday, embassy spokesman Yudhi Gunawan stated in Budapest that the finance minister had celebrated Lebaran with the Indonesian community in Hungary.

Gunawan remarked that the minister was on a work visit to meet several Hungarian officials, such as Deputy Trade and Foreign Minister Laszlo Szabo and Chairman of the Hungarian Parliament for Foreign Commission Nemeth Zsolt.

In the meantime, Indonesian Ambassador to Hungary Wening Esthyprobo, in her open house address, encouraged all Indonesian nationals in the country to strengthen the bonds of brotherhood and friendship.
