According to him, currently 107 thousand vehicles have crossed to Java Island, leaving about 40 thousand more vehicles that have not returned to Merak Port.

“Based on the return flow data until Thursday (11/4/2024), the vehicles that dropped off in Bakauheni from Merak numbered 156,436, so with the volume that has already crossed about 107 thousand, it means that there are still about 40 thousand more vehicles that have not returned,” Helmy said.

He confirmed that vehicles that have not returned to Java Island still remain his focus in order to provide good service during the turning tide.

“This has also been our concentration, 40 thousand vehicles that have not turned back in the remaining time of the reverse flow,” he said.

He also revealed that after conducting a direct review to the regular and executive dockers at the Port of Bakauheni, all went well. In fact, there are no long lines at the toll gates.

“Last night, although the peak was not until we implemented a delaying system. We hope that the situation is still in the green status until the period of reverse flow is completed,” he said.
