REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, BANDUNG -- Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy (menparekraf), Sandiaga Uno, inaugurated the Quran tourist destination at Syaamil Quran, Jalan Babakan Sari, Bandung City, Thursday (4/4/2024). Its location, quite strategic as it is in the middle of the city. The existence of such tourist destinations is expected to increase the passion for tourism in Bandung.

“This can be a destination that God willing, mercy for all mankind,” Sandiaga Uno said at the inauguration.

In this fasting month of Ramadan, he said, people can take wisdom especially when the Quran descends and glorifies it. Touring the Koran itself, he said visitors can see the process of printing the Koran until it is ready for market.

During a long holiday, he hopes that people or tourists can visit the Quran. Sandiaga continued West Java took third place as the area most visited by tourists. “I invite tourists on their homecoming to spend time on religious tours at Alquran Syamil Group tours in Bandung City,” he said.

Sandiaga added that destinations in West Java should be well prepared. Moreover, the number of immigrants will experience a surge and impact on economic movements. He mentioned the tourist destinations that tourists will visit during Lebaran holidays, namely Puncak, Bandung Raya, to Garut, Tasikmalaya and Pangandaran.

“I see a resurgence from South Jabar where starting from Garut, Tasikmalaya, all the way to Pangandaran this will be overrun by tourists,” he said.
