REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Minister of Agrarian and Space/Head of the National Land Agency (ATR/BPN) Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) revealed that land issues in the capital of the archipelago or IKN must be solved cleanly and clearly.
“During a visit to IKN last week, Mr. President of RI Jokowi also reminded us about the resolution of 2,086 hectares of land in IKN. This issue must be solved clean and clear immediately,” AHY said during his remarks at the National Working Meeting of the Ministry of ATR/BPN 2024, which was followed online in Jakarta, Thursday (7/3/2024).
Thus, he added, the investors have a guarantee of confidence in their investments in IKN. “For this reason, I ask the officials of the first echelon supervised by Mr. Deputy Minister/Deputy Head of BPN (Wamen ATR/Waka BPN) Raja Juli Antoni to complete this task immediately. Please report the progress to me at the first opportunity,” AHY said.
For information, the Ministry of Agrarian and Spatial/National Land Agency continues to monitor all land prepared for the development of the Capital Region of Nusantara (IKN) in East Kalimantan (Kaltim).
AHY said that the development of IKN in Kaltim is a representation of Indonesia that is increasingly advanced and in line with the vision of Indonesia Gold 2045.
The government through the development of IKN wants to showcase life in the middle of the forest with a sustainable ecosystem for the next generation. He assured that he would continue to support the development of IKN.
The Ministry of ATR/BPN has up to now also tried to do homework and continues to coordinate with the OIKN. AHY itself received reports from the ATR/BPN Wamen, including from the director-general (dirjen) on what had been done by the previous ATR/BPN Minister Hadi Tjahjanto, who also continued to monitor and convince the Regional Office (Kanwil) of ATR/BPN at the level of East Kalimantan that it provided full support.
There are 9 detailed spatial plans (RDTR) of IKN that have also been completed, then there are also 21 land procurement packages of IKN in which 10 parcels have been completed, while the remaining 11 packages have progressed to 80 percent and another 20 percent remain that need to be well controlled.
