REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Rabithah Alawiyah appreciates the rapid pace of the police who have followed up on reports of the creation of fake pages and certificates related to the descendants of the Prophet Muhammad. In revealing the case, Metro Jaya Police arrested JMW (24 years old) and identified him as a suspect.

According to Ramzy, the actions of the perpetrators of plagiarism on the Rabithah Alawiyah website to commit fraud have greatly upset the organization and the community. This is because JMW created a false nasab and genealogy of habib who is a direct descendant of the Prophet Muhammad SAW.
It hopes that the synergies it has built with the Police can be realized to maintain the unity and unity of the nation. “We hope that the synergy of the Police with Rabithah Alawiyah can continue to be realized in maintaining the security and conductivities of the country. Because of the importance of maintaining the unity and unity of the nation,” Ramzy said.
Previously, a man with the initials JMW from Kampung Bulak, Kalideres District, West Jakarta, had to deal with the Hal authorities after he created a fake website Rabithah Alawiyah, which is an agency that verifies a person as a descendant of the prophet Muhammad SAW. The alleged perpetrator also brandished the logo of Rabithah Alawiyah
“(The site) offers if anyone who wants their name registered with Rabithah Alawiyah can take care through the back line on the blogspot at a cost of Rp 4 million per name. So that the name can be recorded in the Rabithah Alawiyah organization,” said the Special Criminal Director of Metro Jaya Police, Kombes Ade Safri Simanjuntak last week.
As a result of his actions, the JMW suspect was ensnared in Article 35 juncto Article 51 of Law No. 19 of 2016 on Amendments to Law No. 11 of 2008 on Electronic Information and Transactions (ITE) concerning the criminal offense of manipulation, creation, alteration, disappearance, destruction of electronic information and/or electronic documents.
