REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, BANDUNG---- Campaign props (APK) for the 2024 election scattered in Bandung City will start cleaning on Sunday (11/2) in the early morning at 00.01 WIB. The target of cleaning, will first be carried out along Jalan Laswi, Jalan Pasteur, to the area of the Monument to the Struggle of the People of West Java.
“This cleaning needs consolidation between the election organizers, and the local government in this case is the City of Bandung,” said Bandung City Satpol PP Head Rasdian Setiadi in preparation for the APK cleanup at Satpol PP Bandung office on Saturday night.
Rasdian said that in this initial cleaning activity will be carried out along Jalan Lingkar Selatan (BKR-Laswi) then to Jalan Pasteur (Pasupati overpass) at about 01.00 pm which also joined with the team from Bawaslu RI, and continued to the last place in the Perjuangan Monument around 02.00 WIB.
“The target of three days is over. We have a total of 445 personnel with 60 people specialized in non-incident advertising. We're doing like a mosquito repellent spiraling from the inside the nearest one used to be new to the outside,” he said.
Related to the three-day period, Rasdian said, there is a possibility that it will not be completed, but the demoted personnel are expected to exert all their strength and efforts to be able to complete the task as much as possible.
“We have to make the most of our time. We continue to strengthen synergies and coordination, including with TNI and Police including representatives of the parties participating in the elections or timses who move on their own, so that we are facilitated,” Rasdian said.
Rasdian gave instructions to the troops to order later when meeting with party representatives and asked for items that had been cleaned by officers, to be given so as to reduce existing waste.
“If there happens to be LO the party asks for, it's okay to hand over. So that there are not many of us, and also that this year there is an election, it may be possible to use it again, but there must still be a record if it is taken,” he said.
In the apple at the Satpol PP Office, it was seen that it was also attended by the ranks of Bawaslu Kota Bandung and Bawaslu Jabar, then Bandung City Transportation Department, Police, TNI, and other agencies.
It is known that Saturday is the last day of the 2024 election campaign period that will end at 24.00, and on February 11, 2024 from 00.01 will enter a quiet period. During this quiet period, it is not allowed for any campaign activity for general elections, both Presidential Elections (Pilpres) and Legislative Elections (Pileg).
The voting period in the 2024 General Election (Election) itself, is scheduled to take place on 14 February 2024.
