Gus Yahya said that the Indonesian nation is currently facing momentum to determine its future.

Although faced with many challenges, at the same time there are so many advantages that, when used strategically, can be used to overcome existing challenges.

“Then NU will not give my hand and will earnestly strive to contribute to the cause of this nation and country we love. So that we can make sure together that Indonesia wins in the face of these challenges,” he said

One of the goals that NU undertakes to realize this commitment is the development of education. According to him, the inauguration of the UNU Yogyakarta building is a big leap for NU.

“I have to be frank that UNU Yogyakarta with this current development has been completed for 2 years but I think it is a leap of more than 50 years for the size of UNU,” he said.

He admitted that the leap began with President Jokowi's personal vision. He said that it was Jokowi who started on how to help NU be better prepared for the future.

“Today we have witnessed what a future we have shortened looks like for this NU. Even later, we will start a step further by kicking off the start of the construction of MBZ Colllege of Future Studies, which I later think will be completed in an even faster time with a much further leap forward perhaps 100-150 years into the next 100 to 150 years, God willing,” he said.
