REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, YOGYAKARTA -- The Ministry of Industry (Kemenperin) called Yogyakarta Special Region (DIY) one of the role models or pilot for the implementation of Enhanced Domestic Product Use (P3DN) in the country.
“One of the provinces that is a 'role model' is DIY, because we feel that the implementation of P3DN in DIY is one of the fastest in Indonesia,” said the Expert Staff of Minister for Domestic Industry Strengthening of the Ministry of Industry Ignatius Warsito, at Gedhong Pracimasana, Kepatihan Complex, Yogyakarta, Thursday (25/1/2024).
In the Fourth Quarter Control Coordination Meeting of 2023, Ignatius Warsito expressed many positive notes obtained from the policy of the Governor of DIY towards the regulations that have been published so far.
According to him, it is necessary to have synergies between the center and the regions included in the implementation of P3DN.
The collaboration of central government policies, he said again, became an inevitability so that the use of domestic products could be implemented.
“We will deepen again so that the implementation of P3DN activities in Indonesia is realized faster and has a positive impact on society. Especially how we strengthen the local industry through Proud Made in Indonesia,” he said.
DIY has implemented P3DN through DIY Governor's Instruction Number 1 of 2023 on Increased Use of Domestic Products on Procurement of Local Government Goods and Services.
The DIY local government has implemented P3DN amounting to IDR 1.5 trillion or about 77.45 percent, 'business matching' of domestic products, and strengthened the performance of DIY's local e-Catalog involving 16,662 local goods/services products from 806 goods/service providers.
In addition, the DIY local government also carried out monitoring and evaluation of P3DN and initiated the “Proudly Made in Jogja” movement.
“We are trying to encourage the use of local products. In addition, local produce is also a program of the center for the region. The budget for the use of local products is also required to be at least 40 percent to meet spending on goods and services and so on,” said DIY Governor Sri Sultan HB X.
