REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Presidential candidate number 2, Prabowo Subianto says Indonesians no longer need to worry about raising their children. Because if he is elected with Gibran Rakabuming Raka as president and vice president, he will provide free lunch and milk to all Indonesian children.

So, according to Prabowo, parents can see their children grow into a generation that is intelligent and able to compete with other nations. According to him, milk is needed by children.

“Do not worry that your child will grow up strong and intelligent and compete with any nation in the world. As soon as I took office, my first step was to arrange for all Indonesian children to have a nutritious lunch, all Indonesian children who are still pregnant,” Prabowo said while campaigning before Erick Thohir's Thousands of Enthusiast Community in Banteng Square, Central Jakarta, Friday (19/1/2024).

Prabowo admitted that he understood the plight of online ojek drivers (ojol) who every day worked hard to provide for their families. According to him, being an ojol is a profession that dares to defy danger.

But, the profession deserves to be appreciated because it is done in earnest for the sake of a decent life for the family. For this reason, Prabowo-Gibran with the Free Lunch and Milk program for schoolchildren wants to ease the burden on parents to be able to produce an intelligent generation.

“I extend my respect to all of you, I appreciate all your friends, you work very hard every day, with your sweat to carry out a task of finding a decent life for your wife's son,” Prabowo said.

With the support of the leaders, Prabowo feels he has gained new energy and enthusiasm to fight to become Indonesia's future leader. Because, it brings a lot of input and aspiration from among the community.

“Ojol is an honorable man. Willing to rain for a living,” Prabowo said.
