The President Staff Office (KSP) official Ali Mochtar Ngabalin predicts President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) will announce a cabinet reshuffle before this year's Eid. Ngabalin previously said that the cabinet reshuffle was carried out in the last week, but it did not happen.

Ngabalin denied the opinion that President Jokowi was waiting for a certain moment to announce the results of the cabinet reshuffle.

Ngabalin explained why his prediction turned out to be wrong about the reshuffle announcement last week. Ngabalin reasoned that he made the prediction by considering the character of President Jokowi who usually made quick decisions.

Ngabalin is reluctant to make any guesses about the figure of the new minister. He also did not want to comment on whether the reshuffle would touch the current minister or not.

A number of names have reportedly met with President Joko Widodo regarding this resafel. However, the number of ministers who will be delegated is not yet certain.
