REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Indonesia enter a new era in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic.This is marked by the arrival of the Covid-19 vaccine from China this Sunday evening.
The first vaccine ordered by the government from China landed at Soekarno Hatta Airport on Sunday (6/12) 21.23 WIB. The vaccine was brought by Garuda Indonesia GIA810 777-300ER from Beijing.
The Sinovac vaccine is one of the six vaccines that have been ordered by the Government. The government has also tested this vaccine on several volunteers.
Based on the letter number HK.01.07 / Menkes / 9860/2020 dated December 3, 2020, regarding the determination of the type of vaccine for Covid-19 vaccination, specifies several types of vaccines to be used as vaccinations.
The six types are produced by PT Bio Farma, AstraZeneca, Sinopharm, Moderna, Pfizer Inc and Biontech and Sinovac Biotech Ltd.
