REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, SUNGAILIAT -- The Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) of Bangka District, Bangka Belitung Islands Province, has invited all people in the area to prevent radicalism. Head of MUI of Bangka District Syaiful Zohri reminded that religious radicalism can influence the community at any time.

He remarked that the banned movement must be comprehensively prevented by all sections of society as it can endanger the country.

Due to crimes, such as bombings and other criminal threats, committed by radical perpetrators, Zohri firmly believes that such incidents should not recur in the country. He reminded the public to avoid radicalism, fake news or hoaxes, and hate speeches, including anything that is a precursor to negative things.
