REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- The Organizing Committee of the 2018 Asian Para Games (Inapgoc) said ticket prices for the opening of the 2018 Asian Para Games ranged from Rp500,000 to Rp2,500,000. Inapgoc Deputy Director of Media and Public Relations, Tina Talisa made the remarks here on Tuesday, adding that information about the time and place of ticket sales will be announced on Thursday (Sept 20).

"On Thursday, we will announce complete information about tickets for opening, matches and others. In addition, on Thursday, tickets have already been sold to the public," she said.

Meanwhile, in connection with the opening ceremony of the Asian Para Games which will be held on October 6, 2018 at the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium in Senayan, she said the organizing committee has prepared a series of performance events. "In the opening ceremony, we have prepared a series of events, but we have not been able to divulge them now, it's still a secret. There will be appearances from people with disabilities, there are also singers with disabilities and many more," Tina noted.

She also expressed optimism that the holding of the 2018 Asian Para Games would get a lively and positive welcome from the whole community, so that it could run successfully.

"For the opening ceremony, it will not be less exciting as that of the Asian Games. The 2018 Asian Para Games are not just a party for disabilities, but this is also a party for all of us," said Tina.

The Asian Para Games will be held from 6 to 13 October 2018 with participants from 41 countries and joined by a total of 2,800 athletes, 1,800 officials and 500 media, both from within and from abroad.

As many as 18 sports that will be contested in the event, including basketball, volleyball, fencing, table tennis, swimming, shooting, judo, cycling, chess, weight lifting, bowling, goal ball, badminton, running, archery, handball and tennis.
