REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, BREBES -- A tronton dump truck in a high speed hit a number of vehicles and residents' houses, killing 12 people in Brebes, Cenral Java, on Sunday. Meanwhile, 9 others injured.
"The truck's brake failed to function," Brebes Resort Police Chief for Accident Unit, First Inspector Budi Supartoyo said on Sunday evening.
He said Brebes Police personnel have evacuated victims in the accident of a truckload of tens of tons of sugar. Injured victims were taken to Bumiayu Regional Public Hospital (RSUD).

According to Head of Public Information Bureau of Public Relations Division of the National Police Mohammad Iqbal, the police have been able to identify the death victims, on Monday.
The death tolls who had been indentified were Amaliyah Dwi Cahyani Binti Sakrib (20), M Hanif Amrullah Binti Wiyono (27), Yuli Pujiati Ningrum Binti Bambang Toro (31), Nada Salsabila Alda Binti Saefudin (10), Rizal (31), Saekhun (60), Rohmat (60), Wahidin Bin Juri (27), Roni (48), M Faozan Bin Masturo (45), Wili Eka Saputra (21), and Isna Evinka H Kalisalak.
