REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Jakarta Metro Police investigators will immediately schedule an examination against House of Representatives (DPR) deputy speaker Fahri Hamzah related to the report over Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) chairman Sohibul Iman. Fahri filed the report on March 8.
"We will ask for his (Fahri) clarification over his report," said Jakarta Police spokesperson Argo Yuwono on Tuesday (March 13).
However, Jakarta Police did not mention the time yet. According to Argo, Fahri's report was still in the investigation stage, so it has not been determined whether it is fulfill the criminal element or not.
Argo said Jakarta Police investigator would also ask the testimony from expert witnesses and several other witnesses in order to find out whether Fahri's report could be further investigated. The police documented Fahri's report to Sohibul with the number LP / 1265 / III / 2018 / PMJ / Dit.Reskrimsus dated March 8, 2018.
Sohibul is suspected of violating Article 27 Paragraph 3 and Article 43 Paragraph 3 Law No. 19/2016 on Amandement Law No. 11/2008 on nformation and Electronic Transactions (ITE) and or Article 311 and 310 Criminal Code.
Fahri said the court has severed two civil cases that won him against the leadership of the PKS. However, Sohibul, still conveying a statement that leads to slander, even damaging the legal climate in Indonesia and PKS image, said Fahri
"As if the court's decision was in doubt," Fahri said.
