REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) summoned Muh Nawawi Harunia, a male nurse at Medika Permata Hijau hospital on Monday (Jan 29). He will be examined a witness for suspect Fredrich Yunadi in alleged obstruction of justice case
"We will examine him as suspect for suspect Fredrich Yunadi," said KPK spokesperson Febri Diansyah when confirmed on Monday (Jan 29).
KPK has determined Fredrich as suspect for obstructing investigation of Setya Novanto who is now the defendant in e-ID card graft case. He along with Bimanesh Sutarjo, an internist at Medika Permata Hijau hospital allegedly conspired to manipulate Setya's medical record to help avoiding KPK summons. They also believed have made arrangement for Setya to be hospitalized following a minor car accident in November 2017.
Fredrich and Bimanesh allegedly violate Article 21 Law No. 31/1999 as amended by Law No. 20/2001 on Eradication Corruption, also in Article 55 paragraph (1) criminal code (KUHP). Both of them had been detained in two different detention center.
Fredrich has filed pretrial motion against his determination as suspect by KPK. The first hearing is schedule on next February 12 with sole judge Ratmoho.
