REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) finally handed over e-ID card graft case file to Corruption Court at Central Jakarta District Court on Wednesday (December 6). It was done a day earlier than pretrial hearing scheduled on Thursday (December 7) in South Jakarta District Court.
The hand over process was postponed since lawyer Fredrich Yunadi failed to came to KPK office on Tuesday (December 5).
Today, he accompanied his client, Setya Novanto (Setnov), in the hand over of evidences of e-ID card graft case from KPK investigators to prosecutors
"The prosecutor will examine the case file. I do not know when will they finish the examination," Fredrich said at KPK office on Wednesday.
Fredrich said, he has conveyed objection to KPK investigators as witnesses who may ease the suspect have not been questioned. Nevertheless, KPK said, they have given the opportunity and would hand over the dossier to prosecutor.
Inaugural session will void pretrial motion filed by Novanto against KPK's decision on re-naming him as suspect in e-ID card procurement graft case.
On Tuesday (December 5), KPK officially announced e-ID card corruption case file with suspect House of Representatives speaker and Golkar party chairman, Novanto, has been completed.
