Ahmad assessed, president need to show his full support, such as by giving the institution flexibility to work in accordance with its authority and to guarantee there was no force from individual or others on behalf the government.

KPK officially announced Novanto as a suspect in e-ID card graft case for the second time on last November 10. He once has been named as a suspect in July but later has succeeded to invalid his status with a pretrial motion on September 29.

KPK has conducted a new investigation for the development of e-ID graft case through the inquirey process by requesting a number of parties and collected relevant evidences.

After pretrial motion, Novanto was summoned by KPK to testify as a witness for three time. However, he missed all summons.
