However, he did not want to make comment on the possibility of re-naming House of Representatives speaker, Setya Novanto (Setnov) as suspect.

"Just wait and see in the next few hours or days," said Saut at KPK office on Thursday (November 9).

Since Monday (November 6), at least 14 witnesses have been examined by KPK. Leaked sprindik

Earlier, Notice of Commencement of Investigation (SPDP) circulated among journalists. In the SPDP, there was also a letter ordering the start of an investigation (sprindik) number 113/01//10/2017 dated October 31.

It mentioned Setya Novanto has been named again as a suspect in e-ID graft case.

Setnov once named a suspect in e-ID case in July, which incurred an estimated Rp 2.3 million in state losses. He allegedly played a key role in a plan to swindle funds earmarked for the project.

He then filed a pre-trial suit against his status. On September 29, South Jakarta District Court judge Cepi Iskandar concluded that the naming of the suspect by the KPK is not in line with the procedures and Law No. 30 of 2002 on the KPK, Criminal code Procedure, and the standard operating procedure of the anti-graft body.

Setnov succeeded with a pretrial motion and invalid the suspect status on his e-ID graft case.

Meanwhile, on Wednesday (November 8), DKI Jakarta High Court has rejected the KPK's prosecutors appeal of the involvement of House speaker Setya Novanto (Setnov) in the e-ID card corruption case.
