REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- The National Movement to Safeguard the Indonesian Council of Ulema's Fatwa (GNPF MUI) held a gathering and national consolidation to discuss electronic evidence in the case of alleged steamy conversation between Habib Rizieq Shihab and Firza Husein, Friday (June 16). 

In a recorded remarked, Habib Rizieq gave his highest appreciation to one of the speaker, Yusril Ihza Mahendra as an expert on law. Yusril suggested the ulamas and national leaders to reconcile. "It was a brilliant proposal," he commented.

Moreover, Habib RIzieq said, before series of rally "Action to Defend Islam" were staged, GNPF MUI have already proposed dialogue and deliberation to discuss issues of the nation. He asserted, GNPF will never get tired of calling for dialogue and deliberation in order to achieve reconciliation.

"If the proposal is always failed and rejected, there is no other word than to resist. The decision is in the government hand, whether to reconcile or to face a revolution," he remarked.
