REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA – Deputy Chairman of the House of Representatives (DPR) Fahri Hamzah showed a strong reaction to a threat by Nathan P. Suwanto for hiring a crowd-fund assassin. He said it was a ridiculous action.

"You want to kill somebody and make an announcement? But he played with people’s life,” said Fahri on an email to Republika.co.id on Monday (May 1).

Fahri called the people for making a report to police when they know such a plot of crowd-fund assassin. He said it threat the security of Indonesian nationals.

Another Deputy Chairman of DPR Fadli Zon made a report to National Police’s Crime Unit. “We are here to make a police report against Nathan P. Suwanto related to his posting in his personal Twitter account,” said the Deputy Chairman of ACTA Ali Lubis in Central Jakarta on the same day.

Ali said Nathan had spread hatred and had threatened other people’s life. He hoped the police would call him to get an examination. Ali said Fadli could not come to the police as he had another thing to do.

Another ACTA member, Agustiar said Nathan was accused by using article No. 11 in 2008 about Information and Electronic Transaction and article 28 verse 2 about hatred speech.

Meanwhile, Fahira was in Holland when the incident happened. She said his husband Aldwin Rahadian would be his legal team against Nathan. She said the case should be intensively handled.

“If we don’t handle it seriously, there will be many other people repeat the action. Planning a murder is not the same as planning an event,” he said.
