Saudi Arabia bans women to drive in a society that follows gender segregation in all walks of life. Several women have been arrested in recent years after being caught driving.
The General Director of Traffic, Colonel Tariq Al Rabiaan denied social media reports that women will be allowed to drive next month, stating that no such announcement was made.
