REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, NGAWI -- Police anti terror detachment, known as Densus 88, on Sunday arrested a terrorist suspect in the regency of Ngawi, East Java. Deputy Ngawi police chief Com. Suhono confirmed the arrest in the village of Gebang, but Suhono refused to give details.
Villagers said the man arrested by Densus 88 was identified as KF, 22, believed to have links with three alleged terrorists nabbed on Friday afternoon by the anti terror squad in Jakarta's satellite city of Bekasi.
Police raided the house of KF in Ngawi, but no information yet of the result of the raid. KF has been driven to Jakarta for investigations.
Meanwhile, the police have arrested four suspects and are still searching two others in connection with the discovery of a bomb in Bintarajaya, Bekasi, West Java, on Saturday. The bomb was suspected to be detonated at a vital national object. One of the suspects, a woman known as DNY by her initials, was arrested in her lodging house where the police confiscated a pressure cooker bomb that has high explosive power.
