According to Bachtiar, hundred of thousand Muslims from all across the region have come to Jakarta on November 4 for one reason. They were gather to protest and sought legal action against Jakarta governor-inactive Basuki Tjahaja Purnama with his blasphemous remarks about the Holy Quran particularly surah Al Maidah verse 51.

Bachtiar stressed the action followed by hundred of thousand Muslims was not intended to create turbulence in Indonesia as happened in Syria. "I want peace in Indonesia, I do not wish Arab Springs (revolution happened) in Indonesia. And, naudzubillah (we seek God's protection), I do not want Indonesia mimic Syria," he said in a video statement received by Republika.co.id on Friday (11/11).

Nevertheless, Bachtiar noticed during the November 4th rally possibly there were intruders on behalf of the state who wished to beat Muslim up severely. "There were people with gun, who has power, anti-Islam and hate Islam. They want to find momentum. Then, they fired at our Muslim brothers. Certain party has wished for it," he elaborated.

Despite the condition, Bachtiar as coordinator of the November 4th rally has sworn in the heart not to let anyone died during the peaceful acts.
