During November 4th rally, President will be at the Presidential Palace

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, Jakarta -- Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan has confirmed Indonesian President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) will be at the Presidential Palace, Jakarta on November 4th rally. As usual, the President will come to the Presidential palace to work. "President has many agenda tomorrow," said Luhut, after a meeting with Jokowi at the Mereka Palace, Thursday (11/3).

Jakarta Police expected there will be 35 thousands of people joining the rally on Friday (11/4) afternoon. The mass come from various province. They gathered to hold demonstration against alleged religious blasphemy by Jakarta's incumbent governor Basuki Tjahaja Purnama.

Police and Indonesian Military (TNI) have deployed personnel around the Presidential Palace in Jakarta and the City Hall. However, Luhut denied extra security at the nearby the palace. "It's a military standard in facing the situation," he said.
