REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- The Indonesian Council of Ulama (MUI) has indicated Dimas Kanjeng Taat Pribadi's doctrine as misguided. MUI will learn the issue. Ma'ruf said the hermitage of Dimas Kanjeng Taat Pribadi was a pure deception by a syndicate. Their activities were organized. "They've been decepting many people under the guise of religion."

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Religious Affairs urged the people not to be fooled by the term of hermitage (padepokan). Hermitage can be used by someone who teach art class, self defense course, and even religious teaching. "But the term "padepokan" nowdays is more to a place where people seek absurd and metaphysical knowledge," Directorate General of Islamic Community Guidance, Machsin, said to Republika.co.id.
