Semen Indonesia and Pelindo I cooperates in business development

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- State-owned cement manufacturer Semen Indonesia Persero Tbk and State-owned port operator PT Pelabuhan Indonesia (Pelindo) I have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on cooperation of business development planning. The MoU aimed to boost the business.

The MoU were signed by the Semen Indonesia CEO Rizkan Chandra and the Managing Director of Pelindo I, Bambang Eka Cahyana in Jakarta, Thursday (30/6).

"This signing is a real synergy between the two state enterprises. In addition, it will accelerate the realization of strategic investment and operating of the company,'' Rizkan said.

Rizkan added the cooperation also a form of real involvement of Semen Indonesia, contributing through its products.

The cooperation consist of the arrangement of the scheme of cooperation and conduct an inventory or identify the potential of each company.

In addition, the Semen Indonesia and Pelindo I would coordinate or license documents handling from the relevant agencies related to the implementation of the cooperation.

Meanwhile, Bambang welcomed teamed up with Semen Indonesia. He hoped by this cooperation, the Semen Indonesia and Pelindo I could boost its business.
