REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, INDRAMAYU - Fire of National Sports Week (PON) XIX/2016 Jabar is scheduled to be taken from the source of natural fire in the Majakerta Village, District Balongan, Indramayu, West Java Province.

"From Indramayu, the fire will paraded to various districts / cities in West Java," Secretary of Indonesian National Sports Committee (KONI) in Indramayu, Yahya Ruchiyat, when met at his office last weekend.

Taking of fire will be conducted by the Chairman of PON XIX / 2016 who also West Java Governor, Ahmad Heryawan. Indramayu regency claimed ready to host taking of fire. Yahya added, Indramayu district to host of the branches of sport in the PON. Namely swimming and diving.

For the implementation of the three games the sport, Indramayu district has prepared two venues. Balongan Indah beach at the Balongan subdistrict, and Tirtamaya Beach will host swimming and diving. He claimed venue preparation has been done completely. Include supporting facilities such as roads to the location of match.

"Preparation as many as 90 percent," Yahya said.

For the unfinished preparation, just settlement of pier barrier Tirtamaya, however it will be completed before the PON will start on Sept 17, 2016. Yahya said, in PON later, Indramayu regency will send 14 athletes. They will follow the eight sports, namely wrestling, boxing, kempo, rowing, takraw, sand volleyball, taekwondo, and fighting.
