Minister bans playing Pokemon Go by civil servant

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -  Minister of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform (minister-RB) Yuddy Chrisnandi has prohibited the civil servant in government agencies not to play Pokemon Go game. The prohibition is a form of national alertness. In addition, the ban is to prevent bad things.

"Anticipating the emergence of potency of vulnerability in the security and confidentiality of government installations, as well as productivity and discipline of civil servants," Yuddy wrote in a form letter dated July 20.

The letter addressed to the ministers of Working Cabinet, the Armed Forces Commander, Chief of National Police, the Attorney General, Chief of the State Intelligence Agency (BIN), the head of agencies of non-ministerial government, the head of the secretariat of state institutions, the secretariat management of non-structural of institutions, governors from all regions of Indonesia, and the regents or mayors in cities at Indonesia. In these letter, Yuddy ask the leaders in each work unit to ban civil servants apparatus playing Pokemon Go in the government agencies. He also urged the officials and the staff development (PPK) for monitoring its implementation.

As reported earlier, Pokemon Go into one of the favourite games.

Pokemon Go was developed by Niantic, a splinter company owned by Google, is available for iOS and Android devices are limited in some countries like the United States of America, Australia, New Zealand, and Germany. The game was launched in July 2016.
