Pertamina's oil and gas production in Malaysia was recorded at 21 thousand bpd and 89 mmscfd respectively. In Iraq, Pertamina's oil production reached 44 thousand bpd.

"The increase in production was supported by a rise in oil production in Iraq and Algeria. A significant increase in gas production was reported in Algeria and Malaysia," Wianda affirmed.

Moreover, Pertamina has invested US$15.9 billion on geothermal projects during the 2016-2030 period. The investment is aimed at implementing 11 projects in six different locations.
