VP: Indonesia strongly condemns terrorism

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, ULAN BATOR -- The Indonesian government has strongly condemned terrorism attack in Nice, France, and invites members of Summit Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM) to jointly promote peace and fight terrorism.

"Indonesia strongly condemns terrorism attack in Nice," said Indonesian Vice President M Jusuf Kalla (JK) at the ASEM summit in Ulan Bator Mongolia, Friday (15/7).

The Vice President attended the ASEM summit with 51 heads of state and government.  JK said anyone who commits terrorism attack will be the enemy of all countries.

"All participants of ASEM countries have agreed condemn terrorism," Kalla said.

Furthermore, JK explained that to solve terrorism must from the root.

According to JK talk of terrorism will not be complete if it did not realize that the state should stop radicalism. Instead, state could also do radicalism. JK mentioned the recognition of former British Prime Minister Toni Blair.

Previously Vice President held a bilateral meeting with the Prime Minister of Mongolia Tsakia Elbegdor, the President of Myanmar U Htin Kyaw, and Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte.
