REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- There are 30 issues worth Rp45.90 trillion of conventional and sharia bonds listed on Indonesian Stock Exchange (BEI) so far this year, a BEI official said.
The bonds were issued by 24 companies , Nunik Gigih Ujiani, a BEI executive for corporate evaluation, said here on Wednesday.
Nunik said the number would increase with the listing of bond and subordinate bond by PT Bank Pan Indonesia (Bank Panin) Tbk.
He said Bank Panin listed bonds valued at Rp2.1 trillion consisting of phase I of bond (PNBN02CN1) valued at Rp2 trillion to be repayable in 5 years, and phase I of subordinate bond (PNBN02SBCN1) valued at Rp100 billion for 7 years.
"Indonesian rating agency PT Pemeringkat Efek Indonesia (Pefindo) gave a rating of id AA (double A) for the bond and id A+ (single A plus) for the subordinate bond," he said.
With the new bonds issued by Bank Pan Indonesia Tbk , conventional and sharia bonds listed on the BEI so far totaled 287 issues with nominal value of Rp269.28 trillion and US$100 million issued by 102 companies.
Sovereign bonds listed on the BEI totaled 94 series valued at RpRp1,607.40 trillion and US$1,240 million in nominal value with five asset backed securities valued at Rp1.95 trillion.
