REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA -- The Muhammadiyah Central Executive has expressed concern over the bombing incident at Istanbul's Ataturk Airport, Turkey, that killed dozens of people.

"Muhammadiyah expresses its deepest condolences over the bombing incident in Turkey for the umpteenth time," Muhammadiyah Chairman Haedar Nashir noted in a press release received in Jakarta today.

Haedar stated that the perpetrators of the ill act should soon come around and fear the Almighty's punishments for such destructive deeds.

Haedar hoped that Turkey or other countries will stop being targeted for such despotic acts that create fear and despair.

According to Haedar, bombings are not acts of courage but rather ill-advised and cruel deeds that destroy humanity and are cursed by people across the world.

"All nations across the world should unite to fight terrorism. There should be zero room and tolerance for the terrorists out there," he affirmed.

Haedar also encouraged the Turkish government and the country's people to unite in facing the rapid spread of terrorism that continues to create moral panic.

When everyone views terrorism as a global threat, all countries in the world will effortlessly work together to destroy terror networks from their very roots once and for all, he emphasized.

"In line with diplomatic relations, the Indonesian government should offer support and cooperation to the Turkish government in facing terrorism. It is the enemy of everyone in the world," he concluded.
