REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, TANGERANG -- Actress Chelsea Islan plays the role as a descendant of Polish-German girl named Ilona Ianovska in the movie Rudy Habibie.
During the filming process, Chelsea admitted of falling in love with one of the scenes in the film which narrate the story of the former Indonesian President Jusuf Habibie Bacharuddin during his youth.
Chelsea said the scene in which the figure of Rudy (Reza Rahadian) and Ilona debated about the future made an impression for Chelsea.
The scene left a deep impression because Chelsea was amazed at the two young people who have thought deeply about the future and their country.
"It was heavy. Young people may not have much to argue about the future. But they are still concerned about building the nation of Indonesia," said Chelsea in the Grand Premiere of Rudy Habibie in Maxxbox Lippo Village Karawaci, Sunday (26/6) night.
For Chelsea, this film can be both a learning and inspiration for the young generation in building Indonesia because, through this film the audience will be invited to explore the high spirit of the young Habibie to study in Germany and returned to Indonesia with one purpose– namely to build a country that he loves.
"In high spirits, he managed to study in Germany, returned to Indonesia to build his mother land,” said Chelsea.
Ilona character in the movie Rudy Habibie is described as foreign women who can speak Indonesian. Ilona had a relationship with Rudy for some time until finally she had to leave Rudy.
